ATI 128 Rage Ultra Drivers

I Have Searched for these drivers for weeks, and it seemed as there were no newer versions of them! ATI site didnt have anything that would work for my card, as if it there were no such card as Rage Ultra (?). Then I find this site, and now I can only praise you! Thanks! Still need to install win 2k, but its worth of it.

But the reason why the drivers is not to be found on ATI homepage it is becouse the card is only Powerd by ATI, not made by them. Only the chips. Look att Dells hompage for the correct drivers.

You'd be suprised how many times I've had to get these same drivers... ATI needs to keep up their software collection properly...

Thank you for posting this it saved me alot of time. I pulled the card from a non-dell pc, so I would never have thought to look at the dell website. Its funny that I am now installing it into a dell machine.

Searched a bunch of driver sites including ati's website. I tried two different downloads, both of which were for xp only. Then came across one for w2k at helpdrivers.com but you have to pay them for it without knowing whether it works.

Any ideas on how to get it to support 1280X720 (or better yet a 1680X1050) resolution mode?

Thank God. I've spent the entire morning looking for these drivers - I'd even jumped through numerous hoops to open a support request on the ATI site (why on earth do they need my phone number?!). I'd never have thought of the Dell website - this card has never seen a Dell machine!

Thank you for your drivers! The Windows Update driver basically crippled the video card to its lowest settings. Word to the wise...don't use the optional hardware update provided by Windows. Use the manufacturer provided drivers or great places like this!! :-)

Any idea if this will work on the 16Mb card? Seems that one's even more elusive...For an elementary user, I'm a little hesitant to try, knowing it could knock out my monitor. tx

Thanks for pointing this out! Still I wanted to caution you, there is actually an A07 version for Win2k on Dell's site. This is dated 2003 and seems to have a different package. You might wanna take a look and make sure you have the latest driver for the card.

I was looking for these drivers for a friend I was letting using an old monitor of mine.
I looked all over the ATI site and couldn't find anything for the "Ultra"

I am installing W2K Server on an old Dell Dimension. I've been looking around all morning for this driver. Thanks!!!!!!! It is working perfectly.

just inhertides 20 dell gx 240's -280"s and some were not using intel video and had some type of ati ad I went to ati and ofcourse did not work and i looked at card closely and saw 128 ultra something , did my internet serach on that and found you!...and my pc just restarted after installing and it looks good!!!thanks...now I can make some money...(selling refurbished)...im as happy as..well you get the rest.

Thanks again, 20 year old pc veteren waiting for old things to be "easily" compressed and used for other new users, but fighting via windows-world and hopefully in the "future" if we dont go unix or mac which would make things more difficult for us.,,or shall we say..just a little more time for us to figure it out.
